When things look manageable but feel difficult underneath.

You can be doing “all the right things” and still feel anxious, burnt out, avoidant, or unsure of yourself. Therapy can help you slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and figure out small, workable steps toward feeling better.

Who I Work With

Prelude Psychotherapy may be a good fit if you are:

  • A student feeling overwhelmed, avoidant, burned out, or unsure how to keep up.
  • A young adult trying to make decisions about school, work, identity, or direction.
  • An adult questioning your next career step, recovering from burnout, or trying to rebuild momentum.

This is not about forcing quick answers or pushing productivity for its own sake. The goal is to understand what is getting in the way and create support that feels practical, respectful, and grounded.

SERVICES

Meet Julia Saric

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) | MPsy, PhD (Education), B.Ed

Julia brings an unusual combination to her practice: years of teaching in high schools, colleges, and universities, graduate training in psychotherapy and career counselling, and experience working as a psychometrist in a psychology practice. She understands academic and occupational stress from the inside — and brings both clinical skill and real-world context to every session.

“I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. We’ll unpack what’s been hard, laugh when we can, and chart a path forward together.”

GET TO KNOW ME

Ready to see if this feels like the right fit?

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

A consultation is a chance to talk briefly about what is happening, what kind of support you are looking for, and whether Prelude Psychotherapy may be a good fit.
